  • Communications Committee

    The Communications Committee helps foster greater parental involvement in the education of their children, through timely, effective communications on issues affecting Hopewell students and school.

    Responsibilities of the committee include:

    • To publish ParentSpeak, Council's mounthly newsletter, to ensure regular communication with the school community;
    • To maintain a Council web-site and an e-mail circulation list of parents/guardians to facilitate:(i) timely distribution of information to communicate what is happening at school, with the Council, and in public education; and (ii) consultations on matters under consideration by the Council. The web-site will be maintained for the benefit of all parents/guardians of children attending Hopewell Avenue Public School; and
    • Other communication activities as the Committee deems appropriate.
